This June, we will be heading for Pasadena, CA. for a two day writers convention. After that, we will spend two days with family in Sparks, NV before heading to British Columbia, Canada. Our turn around point is Dawson City, Yukon. (with a short sprint to Chicken, Ak and Tok, Ak) On the way, we plan on visiting Laird Hot Springs-missed it last two times and Skagway, Ak. (did I say I like Alaska?) Several points of interest around Whitehorse, BC. then as we head back into the lower 48, we'll stop at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. They have a fantastic display of dinosaur bones! Then, just before wrapping up the trip we'll visit another of our favorite places, Custer State Park, South Dakota. Honey will exposed to a herd of Bison (Buffalo to everyone else) for the first time, as well as bear walking around the MH. Our last dog, Killer, loved the bison and other animals.

Following that trip, in late October, L. C. Hayden is a panel member and workshop presenter on a Mystery writers cruise out of LA. We will be doing the Mexican Riviera ( Puerto Vallarta, Mazattlan, and Cabo San Lucus, Mexico) aboard the Splenor of the Sea-Carnival Cruise Line.

I'll try to keep up and post pictures of the Canada trip, but will have to wait until after the cruise to post them.
